Circling Bear External Liniments come out of the ancient Chinese Martial Arts healing tradition of Tai Tzu Chang Chuan and are made using authentic complex formulas that have been passed down from martial arts masters to students for generations. These formulas have been refined over time by Chow Yue Feng and Ark Wong to Sifu David Cash to Grand Master Rick Ward, to Sky Van Horn, into extremely effective medicines. Only recently with the opening of the East and renewed interest in traditional Chinese medicine have the skills and knowledge relating to the manufacture and application of these liniments been available in the West. Even so, these formulas have only been known and used in the martial arts circles. Circling Bear, located at the base of the Flatirons of Boulder Colorado, was started for the sole purpose of making these authentic and powerful formulas available to everyone. Circling Bear Liniments are handmade with the greatest care using a complex array of the highest quality herbal ingredients available. Black Label YIN Formula
Black Label YIN Formula has been used effectively

Red Label YANG Formula
Red Label YANG Formula was first
introduced as a training aid for our local
martial arts community. The ingredients in
this formula are highly intense in nature and should
be used for a shorter length of time
(two weeks) than YIN. This stimulating formula
is particularly effective on recent injuries that
involve impact with no broken skin.
This liniment may be applied to bruising, joint
pains or injured muscles and tendons.
Ingredients include:
Herbs that move blood
and reduce swelling
(cat tail pollen, carthamus flowers)
Clear fire and resolve toxins
(bushy sophora, psuedo-ginseng)
Reduce pain and stasis
(nux vomica, myrrh)
